Giovanni Kiyingi – Times (Album)

Nymy Media proudly designed the official cover artwork for Giovanni Kiyingi’s first music album, Times, transforming a single image into an identity that reflects the album’s sound and spirit.

The cover photo, shot by Arizona-based photographer Victor (Shotsbyvc), offered a close-up of Giovanni’s face, which we enhanced with colours and texture to mirror the distinct reggae vibe across all twelve tracks of the album. Layered onto the image are two texts: the album title in a bent script font and Giovanni’s name above in a sans serif, maintaining a balance between character and clarity.

To complete the composition, subtle African patterns were added, giving the artwork cultural resonance that complements select tracks without cluttering the design.

Beyond the cover, we also designed the album track list, credits, and other promo materials for the release on 24 October 2025. Key contributors include Giovanni Kiyingi, who wrote all the songs, with production led by Jude Mugerwa, Hudson Hunx, Andrew McKee, and other music creatives across Uganda and the United States.
